Thanks!  I love those, what do you actually call them, floating messages? LOL...one of these days I'll learn all the fancy stuff.
I really hope the zine is enjoyable to read, and that not many mistakes are found, I tell you I've read each story so many times I can probably almost tell them verbatim...lol.
Again, thanks!

Congrats, Chris :afro:  I hope it all goes well.

No time to read tonight (three different house parties to go to ::) ) but I'll try to take a better look around tomorrow
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Parties?  I don't know...are you allowed to get out and have fun?  LOL, just kidding, have fun and be safe.  I'll be here counting hits on the site and writing a chapter for a deadline of Jan. 30th.  Hope you like the site.

Well done, Chris. You've worked hard and produced a classy site.

I've only read the first story, Lowestoft - a moving story evocative of Wordsworth's notion of the Child is Father of the Man. I would have edited it a tad differently, advising against the cluster of paragraphs starting with I - I know it is difficult with first person narratives.

I thought it time I rang the new year in with an avatar change. Appropriate don't you think?
the last sentence makes no sense since I changed my avatar back to skeleton! If anyone wants the static TV they are welcome to copy it:

I've been wondering what to read into it, Geoff!  (Thinking, even as I vanish into the vortex, see!)

Seems like a lot of white noise to me! Happy New Year!  :sthumb:

Wow, I love that avatar, really cool, you'd think I'd have thought of something like that...

Great 1st issue Chris. All the hard work you did really paid off. I imagine many people will be bookmarking your zine for future reads as well.

Well done, Chris. A lot of hard work has gone into the site.

Thank you all so much.  I forgot to say in my last post that I agree with the editing, I'll have to watch for that.  I guess I was so busy looking for misspelled words and misplaced commas that I didn't pay enough attention to that one.  I'll email the author though, and if they want I'll change all that so it reads easier.  Thanks for pointing that out.  Not being an editor myself, it's hard but I'll learn.

What was so impressive to me during all of the trials of putting this together was the hard work right through Christmas of the illustrators, editors and readers.  It's amazing how encouraging they all were/are.  I appreciate all of the comments on the site, thanks much!
