Cover Illustration
« on: January 06, 2006, 08:30:00 AM »
Hello,

The new issue of Gateway Sci-Fi is now up. I did the cover illustration for this issue. I didn't design the cover, just the main illustration on it. It's also for the feature story in this issue as well. To check it out go here:

The colors I used actually play a role in the story. I'm eager to see how many people catch that once they read the story. It's a pretty good story actually. I never read a Sci-Fi Adam & Eve story before this one.

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

It's a little bit of a different style of what I normally do... but it turned out o.k. I guess. It looked a lot better before he compressed it. I think it lost a lot of the detail and also got a bit pixalated when he compressed it.
