:D I've got no concept of what you're talking about, but it sounds good :2thumbs:

I've just bought my boys an X Box and I'm going to get it set up today before they get home from their gran's.  I'm hoping they're going to love it - got them Gotham City Racing and Halo to start with, plus Grand Theft Auto on the way.  My mrs wanted to save it for their Christmas present, but I want them to have it now.  I love giving them stuff, but I'm a bit wary about spoiling them.  Hard to know what to do for the best really  all I know is that I never had fuck-all when I was a kid, and I wanted it to be different for them. ;)

Good man Blunt

Video games are not spoiling them

My son is playing NckJr right this second.  He is 3 and its the first time he is using one!!

It took him about 30 minutes to master using the wireless mouse, (he kept picking it up and pointing it at the screen, hmm think he has seen a remote before ;) )

Anyway the point is the youngest is a girl, and SHE IS SPOILED.  She be the sweetest little angel, until you say no to her.  Then the water works and the screaming ensue.  I would like to say that behavior like that is not rewarded at my house but if a fistful of chocolates will shut her up?  Then I will have a kid weighing 100 pounds in kindergarten.  :(

My two are 4 and 6 - whenever they try that tantrum shit with us, we just laugh at them, however enfuriating it is.  They give up pretty quickly once they see they're not being taken seriously.  Our eldest only ever tried the tactic once and has never bothered again.  The youngest is a little more bull-headed, but he gave up after the third try :2thumbs:

It is amazing how quickly they learn to use technology though - even if you don't show them, they suss it out on their own within a few minutes :)

Yeah well I tried breaking her of the habit, but she is only just coming to visit me, for the longest time she would not leave Mommy's side.  Now I get her every weekend, asnd she is getting a lot better.. She doesn't cry EVERY time I say no, but she is still being rewarded for having tantrums at home.  My son needss lots of attention and has no fear of anything, a terrible combonation.

Course my ex is getting annoyed because he is starting to act more like a boy, since palling around with dad.  So I might be getting him less :(

Actually had him over for a whole week last month, and had him straightened out pretty good, then his Mom took him for 2-3 weeks, and he came back all screwed up.

Ah well,

I wonder if murder is excusable with probation if its in good interest?  Anyone that would have met her would agree with me I think LOL

Yes. Murder is excusable in cases involving a spouse or "EX", but must meet certain criterea first. The legal process involves first establishing the reasonable man / unreasonable woman model. Once established, the model is then placed in what we will refer to as "NAG-gravating" circumstances. From there any reaction involving violence that results in the death of one or both members can be easily justified!  ;)

Looks like Spey has researched this, Neuro :D ;)

At least you get to be 'the fun guy' at weekends - the kids will no doubt go back to their mother saying they want to live with Dad, and all that stuff, because you treat them a little differently than what they're used to in their day to day lives.  It sucks that she's talking about cutting back your access though - kinda smacks of her getting back at you through the kids, which isn't right.  The kids are probably still traumatised by the break-up, and they're bound to have a few problems adjusting.  Sad situation all round.

Still, I'm sure it'll all come right in the end - things generally do  :)
