First photoshop attempt
« on: November 17, 2004, 10:02:33 PM »
Okay here is a lame sig I created... but its myfirst attempt at Photoshop CS with Butterfly 4000 or something kinda plugin thing, doo hickey whatever

The background is from a med page, I believe its the axioms/synapses of  a humna brain.

Then I sharpened it a little, played withthe edges a bit( I dont really know just kept moving sliders till it looked cool)

Then added a Text layer, and used the chrome effect on it.

Think it would look cooler with the text raised or something, but couldn't figure that out

So most people could do this in 30 seconds... took me an hour  :(

But its my first one... in a few months I should be able to produce crap twice as quick ;)

EDIT: Okay found how to edit it alittle

Not much different think different font would make it cool.. need to find Keys Font that kicked ass.

Not bad for a first attempt :2thumbs:  Shame the font is a bit jaggy - could be that font doesn't like being that size (some don't work well above 12px), or you might try setting the resolution of your pic at 200 dpi before you start, instead of the default 72 dpi, sometimes that helps :)

A good site to pick up free fonts is

Well done Neuro - soon you'll be adding layers and tech lines, etc., and you'll be challenging aiwazz for his PS crown
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
