Blunt
Hi, I'm Blunt, and I find intellectual pursuits highly entertaining; it’s the way those clever people scream when they see me chasing them with a meat cleaver.
I’m the father of two. Two children, that is…I can accept no credit for inventing the numerical character, though I use it fairly often. Anyway, where was I? Oh yes - mine works, and I’ve proved it. At least I think I have; the youngest is starting to look more like me every day…my wife’s adamant about that.
There isn’t much that I don’t know at least something about, but conversely, there isn’t something that I know much about. Regardless, I’ll always give you an honest opinion, whether you want it or not, and not always an informed opinion at that. In short, I’m pretty annoying, and stupid. I blame my former teachers, and I’ll hear no more about it.
I've had a few stories published in local magazines and stuff, plus I'm currently in the process of getting a collection of my short stories published in paperback - it was supposed to have come out months ago, but hasn't yet. My Photoshop skills are limited, but I blame that more on spreading myself too thinly, rather than a complete lack of aptitude. Could be wrong about that one though....
GrinReaper (AKA Gary Kemble)
GrinReaper, aka Gary Kemble, was born in Ramsgate, England in 1974 and immigrated to Australia with his family when he was six.
From an early age Gary enjoyed making up stories, his first efforts including the usual mix of aliens and zombies, with a dash of killer cyclones.
Journalism seemed the logical career choice and, since leaving university, Gary has worked as a reporter and sub-editor for a range of newspapers and magazines in England and Australia. He now works for ABC News Online.
His publishing credits include stories in the London at Dawn anthology, Shadowed Realms online magazine, Australian small press magazine Heist, and UK publication Dark Tales. Gary has also performed at the Queensland Writers Centre Wordpool, an annual showcase of emerging writers.
Gary has co-written two novels with Derek Lane - The Bane of Monkeys' Bladders and Joe's Bazaar - and is working on a third.
Gary is a member of the Queensland Writers Centre, Brisbane speculative fiction group Vision, the Horror Writers Association of Australia, and British writing group Blank Slate.
And Gary doesn't usually talk about himself in the 3rd person.

Hulsey
I live in the north east of England and work for Corus, the steel manufacturer. I have three sons and lost my wife Carol in a car accident almost two years ago. My writing is dedicated to Carol's memory.
I have been writing for four years and, in that time, I have written fourteen novels and over fifty short stories. In December 2002, "Nurtured Evil," was published as an e-book and a paperback by Mediaworld. It's a psychological thriller, and can be purchased at www.bestbooksonline.co.uk, Waterstones, or most book retailers online. It's also available in libraries nationwide (in the UK).
Another novel of mine, "Insanity Never Sleeps," was published in December 2003 and is available from the same link as above. A third novel, "The Culling," has just been published in November 2004 and is available at http://www.pabd.com
Neuromancer
A long time ago in a trailer far far away.. born underneath the morning star...
The land was pleased with the presence of an angel. A being born to guide the masses to enlightenment. To bring salvation to the world at large
A couple thousand years later I was born
A perennial underachiever... I would be a procrastinater, maybe tomorrow...completely cerebral, I tend to intellectualize the most simple of things, making me completely useless for all but the most abstract of tasks.
Havent had a published story in over a decade, and then was only in a few local fanzines that I wrote sarcastic, dark humour, that glorified antiestablishmentarianism.
I still consider myself a renegade, and now a seditious veteran, but am much more aware of the institution we call governement, and the necessities of its evil.
Glory to the ignorant, as they as truly blessed.
Troglodyte
Troglodyte: trog'la-dit, n. a cave dweller.
This particular species of Troglodyte, Troglodytes Edinburgiensis, lives in a multi-caved complex in the frozen and barren wastes of North Britain. Here he lives with Mrs Troglodyte, and together they have raised a brood of three troglings, who do their utmost to undermine authority, and generally endeavour to bankrupt the cave's meagre finances.
Mr Troglodyte works in academia. Employed by The University of Edinburgh, he catalogues books and journals in one of the largest academic libraries in Europe. Being this close to such varied source and reference material has proved both inspirational and highly rewarding.
He has only seriously been putting scribe to slate for around three years, but in that time has had the good fortune to have four short stories published, with one forthcoming:
Elevated life appeared in Dark Tales issue # 1
The Orchidologist appeared in Dark Tales issue # 3
30 appeared in Dark Tales issue # 4
Dr Grew on Mars appeared in Jupiter issue # 4
and finally,
Appetite for destruction will be published in the December issue of Thirteen
Mr Troglodyte is currently terrified of underaking a novel, but feels that he should perhaps have a go.
